Chicken Mayo sandwich

 Sandwich is a portable finger food which is popularly known for packed lunch, picnic bites, long trip snacks. There are so many variations in sandwiches from sweet to savory sandwiches.

I am here to share you a delicious chicken sandwich and it is also fits perfect for kids lunch box recipes.

Ingredients:

Servings: 3
Time taken to cook : 30 mins

1. Chicken breast - 2

2. Bread slices - 10

3. Lettuce  - as needed

4. large onion(thinly sliced) - 1 medium 

5. Capsicum(sliced) - 1 medium

6. green chillies(sliced) - 2

7. Oil - 1 tbsp

8. ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp

9. Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup

10. Salt - as needed

11. Pepper - 2 tbsp

12. Italian seasoning - 2 tbsp

13. Garlic(sliced) - 4

14. Garam masala - 1/2 tsp

Method of preparation:

1. In a pressure cooker add chicken, water, salt, pepper, italian seasoning and ginger garlic paste and keep upto 4-5 visils. 
2. Once the chicken is cooked completely, take out from the water, shred it and keep it separately. 

3. In a pan add oil, garlic, green chillies and onion. Saute the onion for 2 mins.
4. Add garam masala, salt, pepper, italian seasoning and mix it well until its completely combined.


5. Add capsicum and mix completely(there is no need to cook the capsicum). Capsicum gives you the crunchy bite while eating the sandwich.
6. Now turn off the heat and let it rest for sometime.
7. Add mayonnaise to this mixture and mix it.

6. Now the sandwich filling is ready. 
7. Remove the sides of the bread and apply the filling on one side of the bread.
8. Keep the lettuce on the top of it and close it with another bread slice.
9. Toast the bread on hot pan by applying butter.
10. Toast the bread on both sides by adding little butter to the pan 
11. Apply the mixture to the toasted bread and keep the lettuce above it.
12. Now close it with another toasted bread.
