Masala paneer

Masala paneer is a spicy paneer recipe with spices in it. It goes well with any curries or even taken as a snack!!

Ingredients:
Cooking time : 15 mins
Total time taken : 3-4 hours
Servings : 300 gms
1. Milk - 1&1/2 litres
2. Vinegar - 2 to 3 tbsp
3. Coriander seeds (crushed) - 1 tsp
4. Cumin seeds (crushed) - 1 tsp
5. Fennel seeds (crushed) - 1/2 tsp
6. Pepper corns (crushed) - 1/2 tsp
7. Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
8. Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tbsp
9. Salt - 1/4 tsp

Method of preparation:
1. Take milk in a pan and start to boil.
2. Wait until the milk boils completely.
3. Once the milk boiled, add coriander seeds.
4. Add cumin seeds.
5. Add chilli flakes.
6. Add pepper corns.
7. Add fennel seeds.
8. Mix everything completely.
9. Switch off the flame and add a tbsp of vinegar.
10. Mix gently and add another tbsp of vinegar.
11. Mix gently so that the milk and whey separates.
12.Now the whey separated nicely.
13. Keep the strainer.
14. Keep a clean white cloth or a cheese cloth on the top of it.
15. Strain the chenna.
16. Pour the water above it and mix gently.
17. Now the vinegar smell goes off completely.
18. Squeeze the water gently.
19. Add salt.
20. Add coriander leaves.
21. Mix gently.
22. Shape the chenna roughly using your hands.
23. Fold the cloth around the paneer.

24. Place the plate on the top of it.
25. Place  a weight above the plate. So that the water from the chenna separates well. Leave for 3-4 hours.
26. Now the masala paneer is ready to add in any curries or gravies of your choice.
