Kale stir fry

Kale is known for its cancer fighting properties. It can be eaten as raw or steam or stir fry it. 

In this post I am going to share stir fry recipe for kale.



Ingredients:

 1. Oil - 2 tbsp
2. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
3. Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
4. Chana dal - 1/2 tsp
5. Onion ( chopped ) - 1/2 cup
6.Coconut ( grated ) - 2 tbsp
7. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
8. Garlic cloves - 3
9. Red chillies - 2
10. Kale - a bunch ( remove the thick stems)
11. Salt - as required
Method of preparation:
1. Take coconut, cumin seeds, red chillies and garlic in mixer and grind it coarsely.
2. In a pan add oil, tempering ingredients ( mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal ).
3. Wait till mustard seeds splutters and dal becomes golden. Add onion and sauté for 2 minutes.
4. Add kale and sauté for 10 mins. The leaves will start to water and shrink.
5. Add grinded things and salt. Sauté until the leaves are completely dry.
6. Ready to serve with rice !!
